Description

Curtis tells the story of a young man struggling to make amends with the harsh family life he left behind, while ensuring the safety of his younger brother Jordan, still there.


Director's Bio

Tannis Spencer is a writer-director based in Harlem, New York. She graduated from American University in Washington, DC in 2012 where she earned her BSBA in Business. In 2016 she wrote, directed, and produced her debut narrative short film TWO, which premiered at the NewFilmmakers New York. Full time, Tannis works at MTV where she produces digital strategies for network award shows. CURTIS is Tannis’ second film endeavor.
