Description

Written and directed by a queer sex worker, and made by an entirely female and non-binary crew, Leaving Charlie is a short film in which a queer stripper navigates comical, and sometimes dark relationships with her co-workers and customers, while trying to discover her path in life and maintain her sense of self.


Director's Bio

Director/ Amanda Brooke Avery – Writer, Actor, Stunt-Woman, Crazy Cat Lady, Yoga Instructor and sometimes…your private dancer. Amanda worked professionally as an actor on shows including: American Horror Story, Halt and Catch Fire, and Sons of Anarchy. This film is her directorial debut.
