BAD BAD NEWS follows, Paloma Elsesser who gets cat-called in a New York subway and decides to track down her harassed. Through her own personal experience growing up as a beautiful, full figured woman, Paloma Brought an electric performance illustrating the anger, pain, sensuality, and power she goes through to reclaim their own sexuality. Leon mirrors her actions, supporting her from afar to propel her momentum.
Director’s Bio
Natalie Rae is an award winning filmmaker originally from Vancouver, Canada.
Directing commercials, music videos and films, her work has been celebrated internationally by the YDA’s, Creativity Online, Fast Company, Ad Week, SHOOTS, the Juno’s, MMVA’s, Prism Prize Awards, Women in Film Festival, the International Art Festival, CFC World Wide Short Film Festival, Whistler Film Festival among many others. Most recently her video for Leon Bridges, Bad Bad News was short listed for best video at the YDA’S.
