Director’s Bio
Doron Max Hagay is a director based in Brooklyn. He frequently collaborates with comedians, many of whom appear in his no budget web-series “Monica,” described by Paper Magazine in 2016 as “the most underrated web-series on the internet.” He has two Vimeo Staff Picks, one for his short film “Erica Wexler is Online,” and “Mom Commercial,” a sketch he directed for comedian Cole Escola. “Vape” a short film he wrote, directed and edited about a realtor who falls for a mechanic who vapes was featured on www.shortofthweek.com and was picked up by JASH, an online comedy platform founded by Sarah Silverman, Tim and Eric, Michael Cera and Reggie Watts.
