Directors’ Bio
Eliza Cossio is a Mexican American writer, actress, and comedian from California. She currently writes for Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas on HBO. After graduating from UC Berkeley, she moved to New York to intern at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where she worked her way up to digital writer and the on-air Senior Latina Contributor. She has studied at the Second City LA, the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre NY, and the Annoyance NY, and now does stand up in dark basements of New York City. Her writing has also been published in Jezebel and Elle Magazine. Her Sex and the City/Sopranos crossover script went viral on Twitter and was featured in NY Magazine/Vulture, AV Club, and Slate Magazine.
Hayley Kosan is an award-winning writer/director in New York City. She previously worked as a digital producer at The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore on Comedy Central. She has written and directed projects for IFC, Upright Citizen’s Brigade and Rent the Runway, along with numerous independent short films and sketches. As an all-around filmmaker, Hayley often shoots and edits her projects as well.
